The commemoration of “Bastille’s Day” is marked, like in any French Territory, by a military parade all the official authorities are invited to attend. The French Polynesia islands also celebrate this republican rendez-vous. At the end of the various official ceremonies a show with traditional singing and dancing and snacks and refreshment beverages are offered in the gardens of the French Republic High Commissioner residence in Tahiti, as well as at the Administrators Residences in the outer islands.
